Easy-Scout Professional Screens Overview and Features

  1. Most of the work in Easy-Scout Professional takes place on a three screens:

    1. The Play Entry and Video Editor Screens

    2. The Play and Video Analyzer Screen

    3. The Report Manager Screen

  2. Easy-Scout Professional's Play Entry and Video Editor screens will accept information about the Offense and/or the Defense as well as the various Plays in the Kicking Game on the same screen, and can be customized if necessary in a few seconds.

The Video Editor screens are used for performing simple tasks such as marking plays as ODK (Offense, Defense, Kicking) or for inclusion in player and team highlight tapes; and complex tasks such as identifying formations, plays, coverages, blitzes, game scenarios, personnel groups and more for producing tendency (scouting) reports.   In addition, plays can be marked for inclusion in a highlight video with player numbers.

Two Video Editor screens, including a new "Quick Cut" screen are included in (Version 2.6 and later) in Easy-Scout Professional. The Quick Cut screen is ideal for simple editing tasks such as ODK cutups, ODK with Run/Pass identification, etc.

  3. The Video Analyzer has powerful search capabilities that make it easy to Locate or Filter individual plays or groups of plays from one or more games and load those plays into a spreadsheet-like "analysis grid".   The Video Analyzer contains a variety of tools for performing on-screen data and video analysis, creating and exporting cutups, printing Reports, and saving collections of plays as "projects" for future use with Easy-Scout Professional and in other programs like Easy-Cut and Coach's Office.
