SOFTWARE LICENSING QUESTIONS

Question:  How many computers can I install a program on? When do I need to purchase additional licenses?

Answer:  This varies by product, but a general rule of thumb is that if a product is available in a Single User, Single Computer, or similarly named version, a license for each computer is required.

Some products such as the Football Statistics products that we offer and the Easy-Scout XP Plus Personal Edition, can be installed in two places only if, like a book it is NOT possible for it  to be in use at the same time (i.e. one person can only be in one place at a time).

Question:  Are there any exceptions for school coaching staffs?

Answer:  Playmaker Pro by default comes as a Staff License without a specific limit on the number of installations. 

Easy-Scout XP Plus by can be installed on two computers if used by coaches on the same staff, and a Personal Edition of Easy-Scout XP Plus is available at a reduced cost when the Staff "sharing" option is not required. 

Additional licenses, when necessary, are usually available for a fraction of the regular purchase price.

Question:  Is it possible to transfer a license from one computer to another?

Answer:  In some cases, yes this is possible and included as a feature of a Software maintenance agreement when one is available. Alternatively, reduced cost "add on" licenses are often available.
