What's New in PlayMaker Pro Since Version 4.1

1. You can right click on anything (players, lines, boxes or text) and a menu will popup to let you change the attributes of what you clicked on. You can "Control" click too, in case your mouse only has 1 button.

2. Football fields can have endzones

3. Boxes can be offensive or defensive player notes.

Player notes have 11 rows for football and are labeled on the left hand side for each player. The letters for the players come from a play on the page. So if you want to change the letters, change the letters in your play (even if you're using circles for players).

Player notes do not appear when you click on the Show button to give a presentation. Pressing the up and down arrow keys during a presentation will display each player's instructions - one at a time. Their corresponding routes will be drawn too. You can draw a play at the top of a page, put player notes at the bottom and easily present it.

4. Players can be rotated. Just click on a player and use the commands under the Play menu to rotate the player 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 or 180 degrees to the right or left. Animated players rotate automatically has they follow their routes.

5. Animated players can follow one line and then another. Now you can draw a block followed by a route to somewhere and it will work with PlayMaker's animation.

6. One new player symbol - A triangle with a letter in it.

7. Align to center of page. Now you can type a title and let PlayMaker put it in the center of the page for you.

8. Move Players to the end of their routes.

Some coaches - usually basketball coaches like to draw a play using a sequence of drawings. For example they will draw the first third of a play in one drawing, the 2nd third in the next drawing and the last third in a third drawing. Now they can draw the first drawing in a sequence, duplicate it, move it where they want it, Move Players to the end of their routes, delete the routes, and draw the routes for the 2nd drawing in the sequence.

9. PlayMaker Pro for Windows and for Macintosh can now export PNG, JPEG and Windows bitmap (BMP) files of your drawings. The PNG files work great in Hudl Presentations. PlayMaker Pro for Macintosh can also export Picts and PDFs of a drawing.

10. PlayMaker Pro for Windows and Macintosh can now open documents from PlayMaker Pro for Windows or Macintosh. You don't have to know which version created a document anymore.

11. You can change players letters by just double clicking on a player with the Selection tool. A new window appears that enables you to change the letters of any player in a play.

12. New view scales have been added so you can scale your drawings to fill your computer screen for presentations. You can now view a full page, or view your drawings at 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% scale.

13. A Bug has been fixed in the Windows version related to font sizes. For many years, text that was specified as 12 point in the Windows version of PlayMaker Pro was actually about 10.5 point. Text sizes are now provided with greater accuracy. This helps your Windows documents display properly when viewed with the Macintosh or iOS versions of PlayMaker Pro. iOS is the operating system that runs iPhones, iPod Touches and iPads.
