Exporting Data, Movie Projects and Video from the Easy-Scout Professional Video Analyzer

The Video and Play Analyzer in Easy-Scout Professional can be used to quickly export the set of plays that are displayed in the "grid" after clicking the "RESULT" button.

Easy-Scout provides a number of "data" Export functions and Version 2.6 and later include an Export Video function.  Changes in later version added functionality to the Save button to make it possible to Save Searches/Filters.

The Hide button is used to temporarily remove an individual play from the Easy-Scout Pro project grid.

The Save button was significantly enhanced in Version 3.11 to add a new Save Filter Criteria (Save Search) capability.

In earlier versions, the Save button created an "import-game ready" file containing only those plays that are visible in the Video Analyzer grid.  In Version 3.11 and later, a powerful capability was added, and is the default behavior for the Save button. 

When clicked, the Save button "creates" a file that contains the search of filter "criteria" only.  Saved Search/Filter Criteria can then be used to perform searches quickly on ANY set of Game data that is loaded in the Video Analyzer.

Easy-Export - creates a Microsoft Excel™ compatible .xls file for additional analysis and charting  

Movie Project - creates an Easy-Cut compatible .csv file for creating video files on CD's and DVD's

Coach' Office Clip File - creates a Coach's Office compatible .cov file for use with the Coach's office video module.

Use the appropriate button after running a search to easily create an xls, csv or .cov file containing the plays displayed in the grid.  A Save As "dialog window" will be displayed so that a file name and/or folder location can be specified.

* Newer versions of Easy-Scout Professional have an Export Video button on the Video Analyzer screen. This button launches the Export Video functions that are contained in what is now referred to as the Video Publishing module. 

Export Video - launches the Video Publishing module that creates a Windows Media, DV-AVI or, in Version 4, an HD AVI video file.  The Video Publishing module was referred to as the Export Video Module in older versions of Easy-Scout Professional. Because its functionality was continually expanded and improved, it is explained primarily through a series of video tutorials.

The most significant changes in Version 4 of Easy-Scout Professional affect the Video Publishing module. For this reason, we have included documentation in PDF and Video formats:
