Using the Report Manager to Print and View Reports in Easy-Scout Professional

Use the Report Manager toolbar button or select the Report Manager menu option to open the Report Manager (shown below)

The Report Manager is used to view or print the "built in" Offensive and Defensive Tendency reports for one or more "games when there is no need to watch video before printing the reports. When using the Report Manager, game(s) should consist of either Offensive or Defensive plays, but not both.

Report Manager enables the user to select one or more games and one or more reports. This is done with a Mover List.  In addition to viewing and printing reports, the Report Manager provides access to the Report Group lists and functionality that makes it possible to create, change, and delete a group of reports.

* In many video editing scenarios, especially when Quick Cut is used, a "game" may initially contain BOTH Offense and Defensive plays.  For reporting purposes, Offensive and Defensive plays must either be "filtered" or "Split" (Using the Split Game Utility) so the correct group of plays (Offense or Defense) are used to generate the reports.

Basic Functionality

The Report Manager screen is designed to provide quick "point and click" access to Tendency reports for one or more games, AND to ease the burden of printing repetitive reports through the use of Report Groups. Report Groups are collections of reports that can be created and maintained by the user.  Easy-Scout Pro has a number of default Report Groups, which can be modified or supplemented by user-defined Report Groups.

Mover List

A Mover List consists of two scroll boxes and a set of buttons. The objective is to move the items between the boxes until the desired selections have been made. Any highlighted selections can be moved with the > or < buttons. All available elements may be moved with the > and < buttons. Multiple selections may be made by holding down the shift key and clicking additional items. Selections may also be moved by 'double clicking'.

Use the upper Mover List on this form to Select Games.

Use the lower Mover List on this form to Select Reports.
