Introducing Easy-Scout XP
Plus
CompuSports' Easy-Scout family of computer software has
been helping coaches build game plans since 1984 ! That's no misprint
- Easy-Scout was one of the very first football scouting programs for
personal computers like the original Apple IIe and IBM PC, and has continued
to evolve and adapt ever since.
Easy-Scout enables a coach to record information for each play in
a football game. This information is typically collected by viewing game video,
and is entered either while viewing the video or from play cards or play
sheets that are used to "break down" a game.
All current Easy-Scout products include a number of
features that reduce the time required to enter scouting data and generate
tendency reports.
These include:
- Simple, straightforward Play Entry and Editing screens .
- A special
"Add Mode" that utilizes "intelligent defaults" to save time when
entering plays in
a group (such as a full game) - either from data recorded previously or while
watching and indexing video on the computer. Plays are automatically numbered and default values
are determined based on the result of the previous play
- Extensive
control over the terminology used to name Plays, Formations, Defenses, Coverages, Pass Patterns etc.
- The ability to skip and/or hide data
entry items that will not be used, making data entry even faster and more efficient
- A Comprehensive Tendency Reporting and Analysis module, including the ability to
search for, or "filter" plays from one or more games
based on any field or combination of fields in the Easy-Scout XP Plus
system
Easy-Scout is a family of scouting
and video editing software that also includes Easy-Scout Professional -
a video enabled version of Easy-Scout.
