Edit an Existing Game in Easy-Scout Professional

Use the Edit Game toolbar button or use the Game Menu to select the Edit Game option.

The EDIT GAME SCREEN displays 3 pieces of information for each Game - its Game Name, and its two "properties", or attributes, and makes it possible to select an existing game for the purposing of adding, modifying or deleting plays - with or without video.

Games

Clicking on a game name will highlight, or select it. Once selected, a Game's Properties will be displayed and the OK button will be activated.

The games list has auto-search capabilities to make it possible for games to be located in an efficient manner. Simply start typing the name of the game and the auto-search will locate the best match found. This feature is helpful when there are many items in the list.

Show Video Check Box

The "Show Video" checkbox controls whether the Video Editor screen (checked) or the "Data-only" Play Entry Screen (unchecked) will open when a game is selected and the OK button is clicked.

In the event that the Show Video box is checked, but the video file associated with that game is not present, the Video Editor will still open and the data functions will operate properly, however the video player will be unable to display the video.

Use Quick Cut Check Box - when checked, will load the Quick Cut Video Editing screen.

Game Video File -  If a game has been "associated", or connected to a video file, the name and location of the Video file will be displayed.  A Video File must have the same name, drive and folder location as indicated in the Game Properties in order for the video playback to function properly.

Click the Cancel button to close this screen and make a different Menu or Toolbar selection.
