EASY-SCOUT PLUS

Advanced Analysis and Reporting Module

OVERVIEW

Easy-Scout Plus has an advanced analysis and reporting module that enhances BOTH the on-screen Sorting and Searching capabilities and the Reporting capabilities of the Easy-Scout Plus system.

The "Analyzer" module includes the full functionality of the Report Manager and all of the Easy-Scout XP Reports.  What is "special" about the Analyzer module is how it enables the 100+ reports to be used as "templates" for presenting tendency information combined with user-specified criteria.  These reports are “launched” from a new and improved View Games screen that looks and feels like the Find (search) "grid" that was included in Easy-Scout XP Plus for the purpose of locating individual plays while adding and editing scouting data.

The Easy-Scout Plus Analyzer tool is :

  • designed to work with data from more than one game at a time in the grid

  • capable of generating reports at the conclusion of an "analysis session" performed in the new Analysis Grid.

In addition, "Analyzer" adds an improved Export utility that makes it possible to save data from Multiple Games in a Microsoft Excel worksheet file,  and a "right click" shortcut menu with 2 new features - click through play editing, and a powerful new Search and Replace utility.

LEARNING HOW TO USE THE EASY-SCOUT PLUS ANALYZER

The View Games button (or Menu Option) in Easy-Scout Plus is used to launch the Analyzer Module

There are 2 Primary functions that are included in the Analyzer module:

The Multi-Game Select and View Games screens  make it possible to Select Games, Select a subset of the plays from those games, and choose what to do with those plays - including Performing on-screen Analysis, Printing Advanced Reports, or Exporting the data to an Excel worksheet

The Filtered Reports Manager Screen makes it is possible to first “Filter” plays from one or more games, and then create a report that uses ONLY those  “filtered” plays!  By “filtered reports”, we mean a report that is based on less than a full set of data ( or less than all of the plays in the game or group of games being analyzed).
