Exporting Schools

When exporting schools information, the fields displayed on the Schools Pane that are listed below under Basic Import/Export Field Order will be included. Easy-Recruiter also allows you to specify that the export file contain:

All schools currently entered into the system, or
Only the current list of records displayed on the Schools Pane. This option filters the exported records for any School Search criteria if a search result is currently active.

To Export Schools information:

Use the Schools Pane to display the current list of schools.
Then use the toolbar button to extract information into an external file.

Importing Schools

When importing High school information, Easy-Recruiter provides a Basic Import feature and an Advanced Import feature. The Basic Import feature requires the incoming data only contain Schools Fields in a specific order (shown below). The Advanced Import feature allows you to combine fields from Athletes, Schools, and Coaches in any order necessary.

Basic Import Feature

To Import School information:

Use the Toolbar button on the Schools Pane, or
Go to the Settings Pane and use the "Import" button under the Data tab on the lower portion of the screen.
If your import file has been prepared to conform to the Basic Import/Export Field Order listed below, specify the filename and file type and then click on the Import button.
If your import file requires a customized field order, specify the filename and file type and then click on the Advanced button to refer to Advanced Import for more information.

Primary Email address
Athletic Director name

Sport Office Phone number

Note - Import files for a Basic Schools Import must be structured with a column for each field listed above and in the order specified. The only required field is School Name. Other fields may be considered optional and left blank, however the file should still be structured accordingly and contain empty columns for unused fields. For an example of a properly structured import file, generate and export file for review.
